Competitions are run every Tuesday as per the Tee Reservation Times.
A senior is classified as age 50 years or over.

Results for Captains Day
Over 30 people played on Captains Day Tue 27th September 2011,
The weather was good to us and there was a golfers fry after the golf.
Mr Seamus Whelan, Men's Captain and Mr Michael McBride Club President attended for the afters plus AGM, I wish to thank them for attending .

The AGM will also take place on this day, if members know of any members who would to like to join the
Committee please put their name forward as some of the present committee are stepping down.
The present golf on Tuesdays will carry on after the AGM for as long as the weather is good.

There was a big turn out to Dundalk golf club.
The scoring was excellent and some of the Mannan Castle players
were in the running for Dundalk Open Competition Prizes!

A large contingent of Seniors travelled to Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Course last Thursday 26th May.
The course was in great condition, whilst the weather was 'threatening' and quite blustery!!
However, we escaped large downpours of rain and a great days golf was enjoyed by all.

Mr James Foran's Captain's Prize for the Seniorswas held on Tuesday, 5 October, 2010.
There was a very large turnout for the Competition, Brunch and AGM, a tribute to the Seniors Captain's year in Office, no doubt.
The Winners were:
1st: Peter Marquis (21) 26 Points.
2nd: Tom Fox (15) 26 Points. (Complete with his new GPS Gadget!!)
Neil Cunningham was Golfer of the Year. Jim Foran will again be Captain for 2010/2011 and Eddie Hamm will be Treasurer.

The AGM will take place after the golf.

Results for the Senior Competition on Tuesday 20 July, 2010 1st Fr. Billy Hughes(24) 24 Points, 2nd Jimmy Courtney (19) 20 Points.
The Seniors' outing to Seapoint a few weeks ago was a great success and the winner of that Competition was again Jimmy Courtney! Well done Jimmy.
The Seniors Captain for 2010 is Mr. James Foran.
On Tuesday 27th April, the Seniors held a 10 Hole Scramble followed by Brunch.
The winning team was: Tom Fox, Noel Gray and Peter Marquis.
The Brunch that followed was enjoyed by all 24 competitors, for which a very special 'Thank You' to Owen Kearney and his staff in the kitchen is due.
Next Tuesday is the regular 10 Hole Singles.
