From the South
If travelling to Mannan Castle from the south the easiest route to the golf club is to taken the N2, bypassing Carrickmacross, and travel approximately 6km until you see a signpost for Donaghmoyne. The sign is on the left and it prompts a right-hand turn. Travel along this road until you reach a T-junction. Turn right here and drive about 3km passing the new church and then at the top of the hill an old church and graveyard. Continue past this and down the hill until you come to a sharp left hand bend. Watch it here as the course is directly down the road to your right. The course is located a short distance along this cul-de-sac.
If travelling from Culloville or Crossmaglen, travel along the R179 towards Carrickmacross. At a hairpin bend going left you’ll need to take a spur road to the right here. Travel along this road for about 1.5km. The road continues around a right hand bend but you need to proceed straight ahead down a cul-de-sac. The course is situated a short distance along this road.
If travelling from Castleblayney head out the N2 towards Carrickmacross. At the junctions for Donaghmoyne follow the same instructions as for travelling from the south.
If travelling from Cavan, travel into the town of Carrickmacross and from main street, take the turn signed for Dundalk, and follow the signs for Mannan Castle.
